We Dress America
This post is sponsored by Walmart and ShopStyle
I’m so excited to share my partnership with Walmart, because I have been an avid Walmart shopper my whole life. Walmart’s single focus is to keep prices low, and no one loves a good deal better than me :)
I strongly believe fashion is a way to celebrate your unique style, express your individuality, and add a little color while on your personal journey to discover your most authentic self - my blog name is “Honestly” Kate after all. The "honestly" in my name definitely isn't a coincidence, because HonestlyKate is all about authenticity. I try to always stay true to who I am and what I value, no matter what kind of obstacles pop up along the way. Being honest includes featuring brands that I find meaning in, it's what my brand is all about. As an entrepreneur, I constantly remind myself of the core reasons of why I started to blog: my love for fashion and my passion for helping people be their truest selves. As long as you’re true to yourself and your ambitions, you will always be authentic.
We Dress America is a fashion campaign that celebrates fashion for all, representing a diverse range of people from across the country. I chose to represent this campaign by wearing a maxi dress from Love Sadie. Maxi dresses are my ultimate, easy, go to when it comes to dressing to go straight from a meeting to dinner with my girls. I love finding pieces that I can rock from “work to the weekend”. Maxis are the epitome of modern romance - my favorite trend of the season. This dress retails at $18.98 - a great deal for something so elegant and whimsical. Leopard happens to be my favorite pattern, so of course I had to add in this leopard belt by Tignanello. Ladies, always cinch the waist whenever you can - I personally love a man repeller look, but it’s important to also show off your figure when you can. Lastly, I matched my pink Circus by Sam Edelman slides with the cutest cross-body circle bag by No Boundaries. When mixing prints, I try to always keep the accessories neutral so that they complement my look instead of distract from it.
Now, I challenge all of you to go find a place that’s meaningful and reflects you—whether in your favorite coffee shop, neighborhood street, daily routine/activity...anywhere!! Wear a full Walmart look and tag that location so you can become a part of the cross-country mosaic we’re building and showcasing with We Dress America.
