I was so excited when I found out Black Tap Burger had opened on the Lower East Side. If you couldn’t already tell, I shoot most of my looks on the LES because I find that during the week it is much quieter and less crowded than it is in midtown or the UES! I have been overly obsessed with Black Tap Burger’s shakes for years now! Not only are they perfect to photograph, they are insanely delicious…. PSA: I have to say I have not had a sugar high like the one I had after drinking these ones in years! I completely crashed on my couch for hours after!!!! I felt like I was a little kid at camp again. BUT, it was totally worth it!
"With décor that harkens back to old school hip-hop and rock and roll, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer is an homage to Chef/Partner Joe Isidori’s passion for the great American burger and luncheonette experience." Black Tap not only serves up insta-worthy shakes, menu features burgers made of beef, bison, lamb, turkey, chorizo, and falafel, along with salad options, spicy Korean wings, and sides like Teriyaki Broccoli, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Mexican Avocado. The Greg Norman Burger, with wagyu beef, house buttermilk-dill dressing, blue cheese, and arugula won “People’s Choice” at the New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash competition in 2015.
Black tap is a must if visiting New York for the first time!
