Pulp Fiction, an American neo-noir crime black comedy, written and directed by the legendary Quentin Tarantino, has always been one of my favorite movies. It really ignited a creative energy within me to explore different roles in my acting.

I chose to dress as Mia Wallace, not necessarily because we have a lot in common, but because I find her to be one of the most iconic and controversial characters in film history. She’s inspired me in so many ways—plus, she’s a total badass. Dressing as Mia was so much fun, and a pretty easy look for anyone to recreate once you’ve got the wig down! I found this wig at Ricky's! They really have the best selection!

At the end of the day, the best way to approach Halloween is to choose a character that you feel strongly about. If you already see a bit of yourself in them, you can probably go even further! Then, use what you’ve got in your closet—or brands that you love—to lend your costume authenticity and flair. If you really love the character, trust me, it will show!
