It’s finally Frye Boot weather and I couldn’t happier! The Frye Company has been around since 1863, and NEVER seems to disappoint when it comes to their new styles! I still remember getting my first pair of Frye boots when I was 14… I still have them! Although, they are definitely snug I try to squeeze my foot in them every so often. I just love how worn in and authentic they look. The Frye Company is an American boot manufacturer that, by its own accounts, is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States… Isnt that such a cool fact?!...

Some more cool info: In 1863, John A. Frye opened the doors to the very first Frye shop on Elm Street in Marlboro, Massachusetts. In the 1890s, Marlboro manufactured more shoes than any other city in the U.S. During that time Frye was one of the largest and most successful footwear companies in the entire country. Frye made custom boots for a number of well-known people including Jackie Kennedy, Bing Crosby, Jerry Lewis, Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Ann-Margret, Walt Frazier, Laurel & Hardy, Candice Bergen, Liza Minnelli, Carole King, Gene Autry, and President Nixon.

The necklace and bracelet I am wearing are from the company Twine and Twig. I recently discovered Twine and Twig, and am completely obsessed with their jewels. The brand was created by North Carolina sisters Elizabeth Stafford White and Jacquelyn Stafford Buckner in 2013. The brand reflects both designers’ love for natural, organic beauty, as well as their southern roots and extensive worldly travels. With quality craftsmanship and incredible attention to detail, every Twine & Twig piece is one of a kind, handcrafted and designed by the two sisters. Each necklace is hand tied with their signature suede strap, and features unique and naturally sourced materials from regions throughout the world.

Where we shot this look: I wanted to shoot this look at The Bowery Marker because it is so freakin’ cute!!! The Bowery Market is a uniquely designed open-air food market in the heart of Noho. The exceptional collection of small restaurants sit on a rare, corner property formerly used as an auto mechanic shop. Each restaurant expresses its own distinct identity while the market pays homage to the industrial history of the site. If you haven’t yet been to The Bowery Market, it’s a must! It’s a perfect place for take out on the way home from work, or a great spot to stop for a quick nibble on a Sunday Morning. My personal favorite is the taco stand! I die for the homemade guacamole! :)
