WHAT I PACKED FOR MEXICO

I’m at the age (or at least my boyfriend' is) when you're entire summer is filled with wedding weekends. At least that's what it is like for me, and I definitely don’t hate it! This summer BAE and I are going to 6 destination weddings, and to kick off the wedding season, we got to go to the NIZUC Resort & spa in Cancun, MEXICO! The wedding was BEYOND!  Not only were two of our closest friends getting married, but I got to go outside the country for the first time with my hunny - what more can you ask for? A lot of you have been asking about the outfits I wore in Mexico, so here is a full rundown of what I packed in my suitcase for the long weekend :)

Night one: Welcome Night

Top: Sabina Musayev / Skirt: Suboo / Shoes: Zara / Clutch: Rae of Light (Use discount code “Honestly10” for 10% off yours)

Wedding Night

Dress: Rococo Sand / Heels: Loeffler Randall / Earrings: Lele Sadoughi

For Travel:

Last but not least, is my travel attire. I’ve always admired those people who look just fabulous on a plane, however I have come to terms with the fact that that will never be me. For plane rides I have to be as comfortable as can be. You never know what will happen when you travel, so comfort is key! I tend to usually wear some sort of Aviator Nation sweatsuit and Golden Goose sneakers.

Key Packing Tips (I learned from my grandmother):

  1. Pack all things silk or that wrinkle in between plastic!

  2. Pack dresses and blouses on hangers! I always travel with a garment bag - and here is a little secret: most planes have a closet that they will store your garment bags in so you don’t have to put it in the overhead bin!

  3. Always tape your liquids and creams so they don’t explode!

  4. Shoes must always be in separate little baggies! (for you germaphobes out there)

  5. Jewelry and valuables must always stay in your carry on! NEVER in your checked luggage!

  6. Scarves, scarves, scarves… to throw on always and whenever!
