If you have not already noticed I LOVE LOVE LOVE things that have “honestly” written all over it! I almost said that I love things that have my monogram on it, but my actual monogram would be KS and that’s just not as exciting to me as “honestly kate” these days! I decided to go for a full Canadian tux look in with this shoot! I absolutely die for a Canadian tux. After Brittney and Justin rocked matching ones in 2001 I have been super into the look. People keep saying that this look is coming back in style…. When has it ever left?!
This look began with my new jean jacket from Unemployed Denim. How freaking sick is it? And what is even more amazing about that brand is that you get the opportunity to design the jacket yourself! Each piece is custom-made to order. You get to hand pick everything from the wash, to the fit, and my favorite part, the patches! There are seriously so many to choose from I didn’t even know where to start!
The founder and CEO of Unemployed Denim Sydney Izen launched the company in 2016. Izen started the brand to create pieces unlike anything seen before. She first did this at Coachella when she reworked a pair of vintage jeans by cutting them and adding patches to create a one-of-a-kind outfit. These cutting edge shorts stood out in a crowd and attracted much attention from festival goers and media alike. From there, the signature personalized Unemployed Denim jacket was born and the company has continued to grow ever since. Izen’s designs are anything but static; forever on a mission to help customers stand out in a crowd, Izen’s designs reflect her personal desire to “wear clothing that turns heads and starts conversations. Not to blend in and match others.”
Hope you guys check out Unemployed Denim here!!!... especially now that Coachella is right around the corner!
