There is nothing better than wearing bright colors when it starts to get colder out! When the cold starts to hit NYC most New Yorkers revert to wearing all black and grey tones, so I wanted to show how as a New Yorker you can incorporate brighter tones in the winter months! J I have always loved layering chunky sweaters with thinner leather jackets. I feel like there is a huge misunderstanding that colored leather jackets (especially) can only be worn in the summer. I strongly disagree! I find that wearing a bright colored leather jacket in the winter can really make an outfit pop! Just because leather jackets aren’t the warmest thing to wear in the winter doesn’t mean you can’t wear thick layers underneath it, and make it a whole winter look!
I have always been obsessed with the French brand IRO! Their clothing line is definitely pricey, however Intermix always has their items on sale ALL THE TIME!!! That’s my little secret! If you couldn’t already tell I am so into wearing stripped sweaters this season, and the IRO one I am wearing above I got on Black Friday! It was such a good find! I love stripped sweaters because they are so fun to mix and match with an everyday simple outfit. I personally think stripes always bring a touch of fun into any look!
Hope you are all staying warm on this frigid Saturday!!
