This Treat Me Tuesday goes to one of my favorite spots in the West Village, Tartine. Tartine, a French bistro located on 253 W 11th St, is a 20- year- old bakery serving the tastiest small dishes and tartines all in a friendly neighborhoody atmosphere. Although, you can’t make a reservation here I promise the wait is worth it. You really feel like you are transported back to the old NYC “village days” …. Even though I wasn’t alive back then LOL I like to pretend I was … And be sure you grab a fresh merengue to go on your way out J

The West Village is probably the BEST people watching in NYC. The style in the village has always been laid back cool, so I wanted to wear an outfit that was more understated than some of my usual looks, but still me! I wore the most comfortable pull over sweater from Design History paired with my three-year-old Pookie and Sebastian skort that I am OBSESSED with!!! I had to top this look off with my Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots which you will be seeing a lot more of now that it’s finally cold! These boots are a pricy, but Marc Fisher and Schutz both make similar pairs that are more affordable. I love over the knee boots because they really give you that extra warmth needed in the colder months. Look out for more looks with Design History sweaters coming soon!

Where are your favorite places to go in the West Village?
