Updated Nighttime Skincare Routine
Instead of using a makeup remover wipe, I switched to using an oil based liquid to take off initial makeup residue from the day. I’ve been experimenting with the DHC Cleansing Oil, and so far I absolutely love it!
After my initial makeup and residue is off from the day, I always do a mask to tighten the pores and keep my skin in check. I have been living for Peter Tomas Roth’s Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, as it really exfoliates my cold weather irritated skin. I notice a much brighter appearance almost immediately after! It’s craziness, plus the pumpkin smell is giving me all the Thanksgiving vibes I need.
To take it all off and make sure my skin is double cleansed I use my absolute FAVORITE cleanser from First Aid Beauty, the Pure Skin Face Cleanser. Made a little video about all it’s benefits here!
Next, I use the Tracie Martyn Absolute Purity Toner to make sure I get all that excess dirt and oil off my face and close up my pores from cleansing! Use discount code HONESTLY15 for 15% off your order ASAP!
Now it’s moisturizer time, I know I might sound like a broken record BUT I am totally obsessed with the the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer, because it’s lightweight and I know it won’t clog my pores overnight. It gives you that perfect morning dewy glow, so you can say “I just woke up like this.”
Now time to load on the serums. I’ve been loving the classic Drunk Elephant Marula Oil. BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT whatever you put on your face you must also put on your neck and décolletage. I love to switch up my serums, so I’ll let you guys know what I start testing once I run out of the DE :)
Last, it’s time to load up on my two favorite Exuvience products. The Lift Volumizing Concentrate and the Wrinkle Smooth Peptide. These products together really lock in everything else you have already put on before bed. You will wake up looking more youthful with a natural looking firmness. Who doesn’t want that? It’s the no needle result to clear, wrinkle free, smooth skin!
