This dress is perfect for transitioning into September. I found the dress on Revolve, and immediately had to do more research into the brand. I soon found out Shona Joy is one of the best dressed women on the social scene in Bondi, Australia. I guess I am just deeply attracted to Australian brands. Shona Joy created her personal label in 2000, and since has gained quite a lot of attention stocking in over 200 store worldwide. Shona Joy describes the brands style as “Luxe bohemian. I love lace and everything about the 1970s. I go for classics with a modern twist.”

I felt that the dress had a bit of a country flare to it, so I paired it with my classic Steve Madden ankle boots and big curly beach waves to amp up the southern feel. Steve Madden will always be one of my favorite shoe stores. If you’re on a budget, or in a rush it is the go to place to find the perfect shoe!

As much as I LOVE summer this outfit really got me excited to start bringing out my suede fall favorites! :)
